What a fantastic day at the Linz Marathon 2026!
Last weekend, our #teamlila took to the starting line at the 24th Oberbank Linz Donau Marathon, one of Austria’s biggest running events, which attracts up to 20,000 participants and countless spectators along the route every year.
With plenty of motivation, strong team spirit and loads of energy, our colleagues rose to the sporting challenges. Whether in the quarter marathon or the relay, we are proud of every single performance!
The Linz Marathon stands not only for sporting excellence, but also for diversity and community. With a total of nine different races, ranging from classic distances to relay and inclusive runs, the event offers the right challenge for all ability levels.
Alongside the sporting successes, one thing in particular was at the heart of it all for us: team spirit. Events like this impressively demonstrate what is possible when a team pursues a common goal, both on the running course and in our day-to-day work.
A particular highlight is the attractive and fast route through Linz. The race starts on the voest motorway bridge, with the finish line at Hauptplatz. An experience that delights both professional and amateur runners alike.
A big round of applause for all the participants, and a heartfelt thank you to the organising team for this thoroughly successful event!
