Remodelling work on the warehouse offices began in October 2023. A second floor was built on top of the existing offices. The reason for the remodelling work was the steady growth of the project teams in our electrical engineering department, which were taking up more and more space. Building services (HVAC) therefore moved to the first floor of the main building.
A major advantage of the newly created workspace is that purchasing, storage and logistics have been brought together. These departments belong closely together and need to be in constant contact and work together. Previously, however, the purchasing team and part of the logistics team were housed in the main building. After the merger, our Purchasing Manager Ali said: "The merger of Warehouse, Logistics and Purchasing has absolutely added value to our day-to-day work!" The benefits are immense: colleagues benefit from shorter distances to each other, which significantly improves efficiency and collaboration.
