On 6 November 2024, we opened our doors for the first time for an open day - especially for interested school pupils, future apprentices and their parents. The day offered the opportunity to experience our company up close and gain fascinating insights into the world of electrical systems.
We welcomed almost 50 curious pupils and their teachers in the morning. Our interactive stations in the switch cabinet construction area were a real highlight. The young people were able to get hands-on and experience the diversity of our work at first hand. The direct dialogue with our dedicated employees gave the pupils the opportunity to ask questions, make initial contacts and experience our real team spirit.
In the afternoon, we focussed on parents and their children. During an informative company presentation and a tour of our workshops, the adults learnt about our work areas. For the children and young people, the focus was once again on the popular interactive stations where they could give free rein to their creativity. Many children really blossomed away from their parents - their joy and curiosity were palpable and made the afternoon an unforgettable experience.
With a successful mix of information, entertainment and interaction, the discovery day offered a programme for all age groups. We were overwhelmed by the consistently positive feedback from the participants. In addition to the exciting insights into our working world, our guests took home the family atmosphere and the strong team spirit of our company. Impressions that will resonate far beyond this day and strengthen our commitment to the skilled workers of tomorrow.
