Blood drive

04.10.23

In today's world, blood drives are more important than ever. They play a central role in medical care and can be life-saving in many cases. A successful blood drive can significantly increase the stocks of blood reserves and thus help to ensure that patients in need receive the best possible care.

Such a successful campaign took place at our premises on 04.10.2023. The aim was to mobilise both first-time donors and regular donors.

The response was very great - 41 colleagues were willing to donate!

The key to the success of this campaign was, among other things, the offer to donate at the workplace. A centrally located room with enough space to accommodate the necessary medical equipment and staff, as well as the pleasant atmosphere also contributed significantly. The medical staff were efficient and meticulous, ensuring that each donor received the best possible care. In addition, small incentives were provided, such as a snack after the donation.

The units of blood collected, which are now available to save lives. show how important and effective such blood drives can be. The success of a blood drive is not only measured in the units of blood collected, but also in the sense of community it fosters. It is an opportunity for people to come together and do something positive for their community.

We would like to thank from the bottom of our hearts each and every person who took the time to participate in our drive. Be it as a donor or helping hand.

A special thank you also goes to the medical staff and the staff of the Upper Austrian Red Cross Blood Donation Centre who worked tirelessly to ensure that the drive ran smoothly and safely.

At a time when so many challenges and uncertainties exist, this blood drive has shown that community, solidarity and the pursuit of the well-being of others are still paramount.
