The Linz-Land Fire Brigade Youth recently had the pleasure of experiencing an exciting visit to G. Klampfer. A total of 25 young people and 9 youth counsellors were invited to gain an insight into the world of electrical engineering and the company's activities. The visit began with a comprehensive presentation of the Klampfer company and the various apprenticeships that can be learnt at #teamlila. The participants were then taken to four different stations to gain a deeper understanding of the work processes and challenges in this area.
At the first station, the young people were given a detailed presentation of the company, followed by an impressive experience at the second station, where they virtually walked through a construction site planned by G. Klampfer with the help of VR glasses and experienced the various trades up close. A factory tour at the third station gave the participants an insight into switchgear construction at G. Klampfer, while at the fourth station they had the opportunity to lend a hand themselves. With guidance and support, the young people built an electrical circuit to learn how to switch the light on and off with a switch.
The visit was a complete success and gave the young people a fascinating insight into the world of electrical engineering. G. Klampfer's team contributed to making this experience unforgettable with their great commitment and expertise. We would like to thank the Linz-Land fire brigade youth for the visit and are delighted that we were able to help young people explore their professional interests and shape their future.
