EMPL Fire Brigade Production

As part of the construction of the new fire brigade production hall and customer center at the Zahna-Elster site, our company implemented the complete technical building services for EMPL Fahrzeugwerk GmbH Germany. The objective of the project was to create modern and efficient production and working conditions and to sustainably expand the infrastructure for vehicle handovers and testing facilities.

The production and handover hall was equipped with energy-efficient gas radiant heaters, ensuring uniform heating of large hall areas. A dedicated gas boiler was installed to supply the office and common areas. High-performance geothermal heat pumps were installed for cooling the office spaces and to support the ventilation systems. In addition, the offices and meeting rooms were fitted with modern ventilation systems as well as high-quality heating and cooling ceilings, providing a comfortable and stable indoor climate throughout the year.

The sanitary installation included all supply and disposal pipelines, including rainwater drainage and the corresponding lifting systems. In addition, technical media such as compressed air and gases – including mixed gas and argon – were supplied directly to the production workplaces via an extensive piping network. A smoke extraction system was installed for the basement warehouse, and the washing hall as well as the pump test bench were fully integrated into the building services systems.

With a built-up area of approximately 4,850 square meters, a pipeline length of around 5,800 meters, and 850 square meters of heating and cooling ceilings, a high-performance and future-oriented production site was created. The project provides EMPL with a significant expansion of production capacities and makes a substantial contribution to optimizing internal processes and quality standards.
