Ventilation systems with 80,000 m³/h
Planning and implementation of all technical building equipment (HVAC and electrical, measurement, control and regulation technology).
For our new customer ALPLA, we took over the complete technical building equipment (HVAC & EMSR) for a new production facility in Żywiec, Poland. The implementation took place from week 48/2022 (start of planning) until the handover of the keys in week 39/2023.
The main focus of the project was the planning and realization of the media supply for ALPLA’s extruder machines, including machine and mold cooling, compressed air (up to 40 bar), supply air, as well as machine and production exhaust air. All planning was carried out model-based in 3D using Revit. Highlights included two non-pressurized stainless steel tanks, extensive piping systems, and two large ventilation units with 80,000 m³/h and 15,000 m³/h.
Additionally, we were commissioned to implement the complete EMSR technology, including programming, visualization (Siemens WinCC Comfort), and installation of three distribution cabinets, sensors, and control and regulation technology based on Beckhoff hardware. The construction process was structured by clear milestones – from assembly planning and material logistics to commissioning.
Despite high technical demands, tight schedules, and external dependencies (delivery times, local electricians), the project was completed on time and in high quality. Special attention was paid to construction site safety. This project strengthened our collaboration with ALPLA and forms the basis for future projects worldwide.
