Comprehensive planning and implementation of modern ventilation technology at the French site in Blois.

As part of the international expansion of the packaging specialist ALPLA, our team carried out the comprehensive planning and implementation of modern ventilation technology at the French site in Blois. The client was ALPLA FRANCE SAS – a subsidiary of the world-leading manufacturer of plastic packaging solutions headquartered in Austria.

Project Scope:

State-of-the-art ventilation units, roof fans, ventilation ducts, and textile air hoses for optimal air distribution were delivered and installed. The implementation was carried out according to precise specifications of the service description and met the highest qualitative and economic standards. Excluded from the scope of services were measurement and control systems, cabling, as well as heating and cooling piping.

Special Challenges:

The work took place during ongoing operations – precise time management and close coordination with ancillary trades were therefore essential. In addition, linguistic and structural differences when working in a new country presented additional challenges for the project team. Comprehensive documentation and continuous coordination with all project stakeholders were key to success.

The project was successfully carried out between 4 September and 3 November 2023. With a contract value of more than EUR 450,000, it comprised extensive services that were entirely handled in English as the project language.

Result and Outlook:

The on-time completion and high quality of the executed work underline our competence in international project business. Thanks to the successful collaboration of all parties involved, not only was the smooth operation of the new system ensured, but also potential cooperation on follow-up projects – for example in Romania – was initiated.
